Marketers spend hundreds of dollars on Craigslist Advertsing!
For the sake of a quick sale, Internet marketers are turning to Craigslist to offer products on a national basis. Most of these are services like web design, logo design, legal counsel, or even physic readings.
The problem is, in order to post enough ads to really get any sizable results, the marketer is forced to spend alot of money on dozens or hundreds of Craigslist Phone Verified accounts so that they may post in mass. This is against Craigslist Terms of Service and is not recommended as a long term solution to marketing for several reasons:
- Craigslist kills these accounts very quickly.
- Craigslist users are pretty much the nickel and dimers of society, so expect alot of haggling.
- Many PVA “suppliers” simply steal your money.
- It’s against the rules!
The solution? Instead of spending $500 per week on PVA accounts, why not spend $500 per month on a more viable solution such as SEO and get leads and sales for years to come. To be honest, Craigslist is probably on the way out, just as myspace has begun to decline in popularity. Too much spam has caused Craigslist to tighten its policies so much that the honest user cant use Craigslist without getting frustrated.
Focusing on Google Map rankings, and organic search rankings is a much more profitable solution in the long run.
